![[20:46] PRESENCE IN PRAYER: LEVEL 1 How do you get khushūʿ in prayer? Start here: Level 1 Not with a book. Not with a course. But with presence. Bring to mind three truths… and let them settle in your chest like a heartbeat. Allāh ﷻ is with you. He hears you. He sees you. Repeat it — not aloud, but silently. Softly. Constantly. Like a private dhikr echoing through your limbs. اللَّهُ مَعِي اللَّهُ يَسْمَعُنِي اللَّهُ يَرَانِي ________________________________________ 1. Allāh ﷻ is with me. You have over 37 trillion cells in your body. Even if you counted one cell every second, you’d need over a million years to finish. So who’s running you right now? Your breath… your blood… your blinking? Allāh ﷻ is. And He is with you — right now. ________________________________________ 2. Allāh ﷻ hears me. Not just your words. But your thoughts. Your emotions. Even what you can’t explain. He hears the ache you carry silently. So just feel. You don’t need words. You just need to mean it. ________________________________________ 3. Allāh ﷻ sees me. He sees everything. Your path. Your effort. Your intention. Even what no one else notices. So let your prayer become a canvas. Let Him see who you are. ________________________________________ It’s what Allāh ﷻ said to Mūsā ʿalayhis-salām: إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَآ أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ “I am with you both. I hear and I see.” (20:46) ________________________________________ Let this be your silent mantra: He is with me. He hears me. He sees me. That’s how you focus in prayer. That’s how you bring presence. Hold it through your whole ṣalāh — and you’ll have a fully present prayer. ________________________________________ But this requires mentorship.
