love ur videos ..glimpse into ur life . Swimming is part of the National Curriculum ( the law) ..in all my years in school (im retired now ), I never had a child who didn't go swimming Hope ur son is okay and u get this sorted 👍

My son (29 now) hates swimming at school. Like u we took him he was an excellent swimmer. He was just a big boy and had stretch marks and didn’t want the other kids to see 🥺. Needless to say he never did a swimming lesson at school. I refused to send him x

It’s getting on my nerves how much the state is taking control of children from being tiny. I’m a childminder and new for this term- we can’t give any food containing sugar or salt (natural yoghurt only) no white bread, parents have to request absences for all ages even tiny babies- lots of people are giving up this job - the government have even capped our earnings and we are self employed!!

It’s hard when they say they don’t want to do something that you know they’ll love, I would say go today and if you still don’t like it after that we can have a chat. I think not letting them ‘give up’ straight away is quite good especially as you know he loves swimming. Hard isn’t it 😩 xxx

My daughter didn’t want to do swimming with school either but I managed to persuade her to give it a go and she enjoyed it after the first lesson. She really dislikes school and struggles at primary though, she is on the waiting list for an autism assessment. I’m looking into tutoring and home schooling for secondary.

Oh my daughter I had to home school her from year 9 she’s in year 11 now best thing I ever did, she’s been accepted into college next year so she’s happy x

It’s a tough one, my son was the same, I made him do it and he enjoyed it in the end. I just thought what if he says he doesn’t want to do maths or another subject, where does it end?

My daughter was the same she’s gone into yr 6 and didn’t feel comfortable going swimming! I went in and the head teacher was fine with it.. good job really cause she wouldn’t have been going either way! Stick to your guns they can’t make him… ♥️

Do they not moan about you taking kids out of school? im in Ireland and you would be told not to book in term time! They need to reduce the price of holidays in school holidays, its near double to go in the holidays 🙄
