@monstrofarm: For the last 102 days this Monstera has been living in soil after living forever in a vase with water, after being propagated. Plants are resilient and I wanted to prove this and see for myself if a Monstera that was grown in water and then soil could grow again in water. Here’s how I did it ✂️ I started 102 days ago by taking my water, propagated Monstera and putting it in a chunky mix I specifically made for this plant. 🌱 Then during this time, I watered it about once a week with a low dose of fertilizer to make sure it was hydrated and had sufficient nutrients to allow it to grow not only bigger, greener foliage, but also develop the roots. 🪴 Here we are today and I removed all the existing soil, cleaned off the roots as much as I could and put it back in a vase with water. The next couple weeks will be the most important and I need to make sure that the vase has sufficient water, but not so much that it starves the plant of oxygen. I have a thai constellation monstera I've tried it in indoor potting mix and it has been slow so I've just put her in water with so plant nutrition is that ok

i have a monstera and since I've failed 2 times to keep it in soil/ hydrophonic soil I've just resorted to keep her in a vase with just water so far she's doing fine, it's been more than a year. I just regularly change the water, trim the mushy roots and add a few drops of plant food
