I don’t understand her at all. Someone described her as complacent once, and that resonated with me. It seems almost like she thought that Kody would never treat her the way he treated Neri and Christine-until he did.

😭 as bad as this is going to sound, I think she was personally getting some of the best treatment behind the scenes from Cody throughout the marriage because think about it, she was his number one breeder. if you're a farmer and you have livestock and you have one heifer that's just popping prize steers out you're going to give that one some extra love extra kiss extra pillow talk, so I think it was easier for her to turn a blind eye because she felt special. but once she was no longer breeding stock, and Robin took the throne, that's when s*** became an issue more to her

She knew and was definitely ok with it until he started treating her like the rest. She knew where the money was going and said nothing and came out with nothing like the rest of them.

Yes I know people love Janelle but Janelle kept a lot of things hidden to be in favor with Kody, she definitely didn’t care until she started to feel Kody treating her the same way with Christine.

I agree. I think Janelle was the favorite but Kody wasn’t flagrant about it like he is with Robyn. Also I believe her mom was Kody’s dad’s favorite, which probably pressured Kody to treat Janelle “right”. Also I have a feeling Janelle wasnt selfish with her resources that she put in the family pot. But I believe she let a lot of the foolery slide until he started becoming a horrible dad and completely disrespectful to her on camera. Then she couldnt deny it anymore.

When you reconcile a bank statement you go thru everything going in and out so when Kody and Robyn looked like they were taking out excessive amounts of money month after month she should have said something like hey i see you and Robyn took out way more than the rest of us. Thats not in the best interest of the big picture!

Why was J so invested in C leaving K? It’s almost like she was cheering her on 🤷♀️I think she thought oh good, now the rest of us have most of Coyote Pass to ourselves. I think she was in cahoots with R&K to get rid of M next, but in private K&R knew they had to get rid of her too! K was hoping M&J would do the same as C and do a quit claim on Coyote Pass and they would be left with the property to sell. It backfired on all of them

One thing to remember is the effect that the eternal marriage aspect can have on how you rationalize things. Each of these women believed with their entire souls that they had made not only vows to each other but also to God that they would be a family for eternity. And that them being married is how they will get to heaven.

I feel like Janelle came into the relationship with such low expectations for Kody that it never bothered her when he fell short. She was independent and raised her kids to be, so Kody’s actions didn’t matter. It wasn’t until he went under the already low bar and it affected her kids that she was over it.
