Yeah the US doesn't really teach about the horrible things we did either. We teach about how the US is the world's superhero and we just save everyone

I think that Italy has the same similar problem with their Ww2 history, I mean it's only Germany who has healthy relationship with learning from history, on the other hand Italians are just like Japanese "hey, look at Roman history, look at beautiful renesanse period" but there isn't any responsibility lesson in history about their colonialism or during dark age of Fascism in Italy

Did Japan really lose the war, look at the strength of your economy and German economy. Better than UK and USA.

many asian countries fought and fell to the Japanese invasion, Australia was busy fighting in North Aftica and were immediately recalled to help defend Australia, the Japanese bombed Darwin many times.
The US didn't wake up till December 1941 and only started to make small campaigns in February 1942

Japanese schools are actually- “one day for no reason whatsoever, America dropped two bombs on us. And that’s why war is bad”

I like your previous comment regarding Forgiveness and to never forget. In the attempt to not Blame future generations for past acts, we must teach & learn to never have it happen again. 🤔
The 🇺🇲 could really use our past mistakes & mistakes of other countries to relearn that important lesson right now. 🤔
🇺🇲 must never forget our torrid past and strive to be a better ppl. 💯✨

It's wrong to teach people that their nation's past is something to apologize for. Schools should teach kids to be patriotic and love their heritage. There's nothing to be gained by promoting guilt and self-hatred.

Japan still does not want to admit its mistakes, and the people of the 1940s did not receive an apology until they died.😔

Most of Asia deserves an apology from Japan for the atrocities that they committed during WW2 . If the United States had not completely destroyed Japan’s ability to make war, through the loss of tens of thousands of American lives and brought the war to an end , many more Asian lives would have been lost.
