I wonder if this is gonna be like the topdon topscan unit that was in n here a year ago; you buy the hardware, use it for a year, then they demand you pay a subscription to use the software. Buyer beware. The topdon made the same claims of free updates, the updates are free, just can't use them without a subscription

What about the Christmas Tree light problem on a 2020 Acura MDX. I can't pinpoint what is triggering all the lights. Have tried all kinds of stuff. Haven't found a fix yet!

What they don't tell you is the bidirectional stuff (turning stuff on and off, parking brake retract, etc) is a paid monthly subscription. Sure... application updates are free as long as the company provides them. If the company's servers go down, you can't used the app.
