People who acting like we are the WORST things in the world is crazy. Why won’t they talk the same with other attachment types?

“We don’t do it intentionally” you are very much aware of your patterns and how you’ll most likely act when getting to know someone. So how about taking some accountability, don’t get into relationships when you’re not ready and GO TO THERAPY FFS

i feel like we're MISSING the fact of why some people turn out this way. a lot of avoidants tend to feel uncomfortable when something is going good because it's not what they're used to. their concept and experience of love is fuxxed up (usually starts from familial "love"). if someone grew up with a family that constantly makes them feel worthless, having someone that makes them feel worth it isn't something they're used to and they want to run away from it because they're uneasy or scared. i'm not saying this is for everyone's case and i'm not saying they shouldn't have accountability, what i'm saying is some people quite literally a) do not know they are avoidant (especially if it's their first relationship) and b) it's difficult for them to control these tendencies. but having a partner that communicates with you is VERY helpful. almost everyone deserves love, even (or especially) avoidants.
