What if my puppy eats things he’s not supposed to? Non food items…feel like I can’t give him any soft toys, paper to shred or dirt/sand to dig as he will eat it 😩

My problem is my dog doesn’t just chew stuff he literally tries to eat it. I am so worried if I get him toys that will rip or tear he is going to eat it and get sick.

My dog eats everything the wall the cords everything. I’ve tried spraying things with apple cider vinegar I give him a bunch of toys recommended from vets I take him outside but nothing works

i can’t use shredded paper my dog will eat it , she eats the ears and tails off of toys too, what do i do to stop that? she’s fully fed etc lol

We got a puppy 6 weeks ago and hes been amazing in his crate. Only barks if he has to use the bathroom. Now all of a sudden he barks like crazy at bedtime. Nothing has changed! any ideas ?

Please don’t freeze your sock! I work in vet med and have been a part of multiple foreign body surgeries to remove socks that have blocked a dog’s intestines. Not all dogs will eat it but why tempt them

my puppy prefers chewing on my hands or the couch even when given many different toy options 😅 all i could really do is walk away or put him in timeout but i want to teach more positively reinforced behaviours in him 😔

hi! love your videos :-) i have a 6 month old aussie who’s extremely high energy + smart, i’ve gotten her plenty of enrichment activities like the snuffle mats or those little slow feeder balls - i feel like they truly only ever last her 10 min max because she solves them quick! are there any enrichment activies that you could recommend that last 30+ min? i’ve been on the hunt but i find things that im pretty sure she’ll just solve in a matter of minutes 😭 she likes the yak chews but gets bored of them every so often. we also give her empty cartons of milk / cardboard boxes to destroy! she’s also been trying to dig holes on our yard… pls help a girl out 🙃

If you don’t have a place to put your shoes might I suggest building something. I had hecka milk crates just laying around, so I made myself a lil stand for my makeup, books and shoes

As a preschool teacher, I refer to "bad/problem behavior" as "unwanted behavior". It is natural for them, but you don't necessarily want your shoes in pieces.

once i realized my dog likes to shred, i started saving all our paper towel rolls and coffee cup holders. when he gets the zoomies, i know he’s getting in the mood to shred, so i throw him one and we avoid him trying to dig through the bathroom garbage 😭😭

My pup loves to tear apart his plushies, so I got a turkey toy that stuffed with little plush veggies and other similar hide and seek toys. He loves them! Snuffle matts too. He also loves to dig and we live in an apartment so I’ll use a pretty long box I got from a chewy shipment, I put an old towel and blanket inside layered with his kibble and a couple fun treats.

Love the idea of rotating toys! Sometimes as a Montessori trained person, I forget that rotation is crucial for engagement and too much is overstimulated and boredom.
