Ugh. I’ve been in public where people did this. If I get one whiff of cigarette smoke, I’m coughing for at least 30min. I don’t know if I’m allergic or it’s my asthma, but just smelling the cigarette on a HEAVY smoker can send me into a coughing frenzy.

We found out my sister developed asthma from my grandma smoking because literally every time we visited, she had bronchitis the following week. My mom checked her chart and it was directly after every time. So yeah, smoking in stores is bad for everyone

when I was the store manager for valvoline i had a customer smoke inside his car!!!! he refused to put it out so I refused service 🤷♀️

There's a convenience store near me that I can't go in because everyone in there smokes, both customers and employees. It's like walking into the 70s. The gas is branded marathon so you'd think corporate would make them quit

I watched an old man light up a smoke and walk into a store. I went to a cashier right away. She said hes an issue this isnt the first time and they’ve already dealt with it

As someone who smokes, I can’t imagine smoking in public like that. I walk as far away from doors as I can, cause I am aware not everyone likes the smell of smoke, or people have asthma, or kids are around. I don’t want to affect anyone else if it’s possible. I choose to smoke. Not everyone does

I never coughed out a chip at “over 30 years ago.” My Nanny was so unhappy when non-smoking became a thing in most places.

I’m so glad smoking is banned indoors in most places now. My aunt has had pneumonia twice from her lungs being weakened after working in a restaurant in her twenties. It’s so unfair for those who don’t smoke

Spent a month in Ireland as a student and couldn’t believe ppl were allowed to smoke on the trains. I reeked the whole time. It was like 1982 in there. Surprising, considering Europe is so far ahead of us on health/food regulations

I had a yard sale this summer. Guy walks in my garage while I'm holding my 3 month old smoking. When I told him to leave he ignored me.
