I would totally recommend a raised stand for his food bowl. A dog his size his belly could flip while eating especially if he’s eating fast!

As someone who works in the vet field I wouldn’t recommend farmers. There’s been tons of reports of dogs later having issues from this food. Even had a couple dogs i’ve seen personally. Just something to consider/think about.

if you want to give him fresh food, it’s better to make it yourself. i’m a vet tech, and farmers dog can cause pancreatitis and make them super sick. i make my dogs fresh food as a topper, and use brown rice, ground turkey, carrots, broccoli and green beans. i make a big batch and it last me about 2 weeks with 3 dogs. i freeze them in separate bags and thaw a bag out and refrigerate the bag im currently using!
