It’s bc they pretend the worked from the ground up. They didn’t. They may have been “built the foundation” but the land and loan for materials was given to them. Getting a small business loan is hard and frankly impossible in this economy- even a simple $50k loan. So pretending they really “pulled themselves up by their bootstraps” is a lie. Pretending they work “23 hrs a day and can’t understand why you can’t” but they have a maid, cook, and nanny…is a lie. The issue is pretending they did something they didn’t.

Yeah I agree. It more than just a head start to be successful. People can just be spiteful for the advantage, because ir is an unfair advantage at the end of the day but life isn’t fair.

I feel like it really depends on what the nepotism is. dad's an actor so they go to more casting calls? sure. profiting off apartheid and a two tiered justice system in South Africa? muuuuuch less forgiving. and thats not even getting into what Elon did!! dude pretends to be an engineer but he's a financier/venture capitalist. he coded a bit 2 decades ago and now passes himself off as a founder/inventor/engineer. Nepo baby has to resort to union busting because his employees want a decent wage? thats pathetic.
