I understand what you mean about the food. When I visited London, we looked into a few restaurants that we wanted to try and they didn’t disappoint. However, when we dined without doing research those places were pretty much hit or miss…mainly miss and rather pricey. 🫤 I absolutely adored the Cotswolds! 💕

The level of appreciation for fun is higher here, as well as a focus on memorable food. As far as cost of living, it may be better than the UK in some areas, but it's still wildly high compared to income unless you're an entrepreneur. But because all the US systems are currently collapsing from their own unequal weight: economic, political, education, medical, judicial, etc, etc, (not to mention the p*triarchy) the new systems replacing them will be equitable. We'll follow the lead of other nations like Burkina Faso and Sweden with specific systems that do work and are affordable for everyone. I also believe we're headed to a future without borders.

The service has to be good so the restaurant survives and the employees get decent tips to make a ‘livable’ wage. As an American, there are very few truly wow places or experiences. I’ve had far better meals (and service) in Montreal than in the states and I’ve been to some upscale venues here.

I didn’t love the food in the places I visited in Europe, but I have fully enjoyed every trip, and I have seen beautiful things and made wonderful memories. Traveling is good for the soul. Love your content.

I saw a video the other day of a guy from Europe that moved here and said he felt like a slave, it was so routine, and he made money to just spend it on rent and living, and now he said he’s made more money than he knows what to do with and he’s only been here like 3 years.
