Train the dog. Touch their feet, reward, ask for paw, reward, ask for paw and touch clippers, reward. Touch and pick up clippers, reward, touch clippers to nails, reward. My dog personally does better with a dermal. Same process though

My dog did the sr until I taught her the clippers weren’t scary. I got her comfortable in my bed and just started showing her the clippers and rewarding for everything she did good. Eventually she let me cuz them in my bedroom which then grew to being able to cut them anywhere without fuss. As long as I reward her after she is happy enough to do it. (From my experience)
