I know it’s not on your list, but Iceland was my first solo trip and it was AMAZING! Literally like nothing I’ve ever seen before in my life, and it’s one of the safest countries in the world

I’ve solo traveled 18 countries and Denmark was one of my favorite. There was not one moment during my trip I felt unsafe. The public transportation was so easy to use and there was so much to do in Copenhagen. Highly recommend!

But don’t overlook Southeast Asia!!! Flight is the only major expense, best for budget travel everything is cheap, money goes far. Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia!!!

best solo travel spots: Scotland (Inverness), Ireland, London, and Vancouver (SO SLEPT ON). I get a little overwhelmed in countries that don’t have English as their main language tbh but def give those a try too! Montreal was nice and Paris was fun

Amsterdam is perfect for solo travel, and really safe for solo women travels generally as well. If you do Amsterdam, you need to take the train to Utrecht and at least spend a morning or afternoon/evening there! I was based in Utrecht on my last trip to NL and it’s literally a perfect city ❤

I’ve only been to Amsterdam but have done quite a bit of solo traveling. Amsterdam is my favorite place I’ve ever been! Favorite activities were: bike tour, canal tour, and Anne Frank house (book in advance and if you miss it, they drop a limited amount of tickets again every Tuesday I believe)

I was just in Copenhagen for a solo travel and it was amazing! Super safe and public transportation and bikes are awesome there. I stayed at NextHouse hostel and it was really nice, they have daily events where you meet so many people. I made a group of friends my first day there on a hostel walking tour so I got to spend the rest of my solo days there with some people!

One day in Montreal is enough. Just came back and there are bees everywhere. If anything I would choose Quebec City over this. Barcelona and Amsterdam are gorgeous. Only left for a cruise from Denmark. Didn’t look around much. Went to Barcelona years ago, recently I’ve heard a lot of backlash to tourists. So I would say Amsterdam. Sorry I’m a rambler

Copenhagen was my first ever solo trip and it honestly was the perfect city for it! So safe, everyone spoke english, easy public transport & walkable. I’ve also done Barcelona & Amsterdam solo and felt fine in both but CPH is the best starter of these imo! :)
