@materialgirlphd: this might seem really boring to some, but this stuff really gets me going!! last week i spent 8 hours in this room watching the test rig go up-down-up-down x1000 times 😵‍💫. i hook up the multimeter directly with my samples, and later have to synchronise the data with the Instron data. quite a common set up with my research unfortunately as there's no way to synchronise the two machines (unless we fork out like £20k), but if you have any better suggestions then pls Imk! #materials #lab #mechanicalengineering #phdstudent #engineering
