Its also so hard to explain the fatigue… like we don’t WANT to be this way

I’m so type A with a usually spotless house. In my first trimester it was a DISASTER! I was so sick and even standing made me feel like I was going to fall to the ground! Give her a break! The energy comes back with time.

I didn’t lift a SINGLE finger in my first trimester. Mt husband did everything. Cooking, cleaning, if your man is complaining… get rid of him 💛

Him saying he's never seen this side of her says enough. She's pregnant, probably sick and exhausted. He should read up on what her body is doing to grow his child, it's amazing.

There is NOTHING like the exhaustion from the first (and some of the second for me) trimester!

Even by trimester it can be so different! I was SO sick first trimester I could barely function. Got my energy back for the most part in my second so it totally depends!

Her saying he should do it only because she’s pregnant is annoying. Her saying she’s too TIRED to do it because she’s pregnant and has no energy is very different and extremely valid

The most simple tasks are EXHAUSTING in that first trimester. Once I hit my second trimester I felt completely back to normal.

Yeah no, we go through something you’ll literally never have to do, ever. You can pick up the slack for a few months. I was absolutely miserable and exhausted.

So he knows how many women feel about their husbands 80% of the time. Except she using every ounce of energy to grow an entire person.

I was sleeping 18-20 hours in my first trimester 😩 I’ve never felt that tired. I would say it’s more like 1.5 years he has to suck it up not just 9 months.

Before pregnancy I genuinely would have thought the same as him but I’ve been in the trenches my entire pregnancy, 29 weeks now and I can barely do anything myself and it’s been horrible since day one 😭

I’m sorry but no, he can step F up. This is my first pregnancy and I was miserable the first trimester! Exhausted, nauseated, dizzy, and peeing every 5 seconds. While working full time! I couldn’t deal…it has definitely gotten better and I’m able to do more. But this guy is complaining that he has to now do the “simple tasks” she’s now refusing to do. As a partner he needs to step up. It’s not the same experience for everyone. Thankfully I chose the right partner ✨

It comes down to if you trust her or not. If she’s miserable and not feeling well, then pick up the slack. If you think she’s lying… you have bigger issues.

Opening the dishwasher in first trimester made me throw up. I also felt so guilty and bad about myself for being so lazy and weak. I couldn’t imagine if my husband told me I needed to step it up.

First trimester if I wasn’t at my desk working, I was sleeping. The exhaustion was out of this world. I’ve never felt more lazy and helpless than I did first trimester

Pregnancy is the most debilitating thing I have ever done and last year I had foot surgery where I was non weight bearing for 9 weeks and have torn my ACL 2x. The fatigue and lack of executive function is UNREAL.
