MAURITIAN CHICKEN CURRY 🇲🇺🥘 A comforting classic that blends aromatic spices and tender chicken together to make a heartwarming meal. If you’ve made curry before, you know the pot can be tough to clean. But thanks to the @chux_anz Non-Scratch Dishwand, washing dishes is so much easier. Let me show you how you can do it too! - Vegetable oil, to cook - 1 onion, chopped - 1 green chilli - 1 ½ tsp minced ginger - 1 ½ tsp minced garlic - 10 curry leaves - 2kg whole chicken, cut into smaller pieces - 1 ½ chopped tomatoes - 2 - 3 tbsp mild curry powder - Salt, to taste - Jasmine rice, to serve - Coriander, to garnish   Heat some oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and green chilli, and sauté until softened. Add ginger, garlic, curry leaves and stir for a few minutes. Add chicken pieces and stir until lightly browned and covered with the mixture. Add the chopped tomatoes, curry powder, salt to taste and enough water to submerge most of the chicken. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes until chicken is tender.
