As someone finishing her nursing prerequisites and applying for my my seat into the program, I hate hearing how burnt out our nurses are. I hate that they can't take care of their patients how they want to ensure the best possible care. You have to do what makes you happy and it's exciting to hear you found a way to continue nursing without the added stress and rules. Pediatrics is my top choice when I graduate, I'm currently a medical assistant in a pediatric office.

I’m in the same situation. I’m a nurse and I dread going into work every day. It’s hard to change but it’s sometimes necessary. It can be easier to stay complacent but it’s not healthy to stay complacent.
