Hiii just fyi you shouldn’t lock the lid on your crockpot while cooking! Only for transporting! It can cause the steam to build up & shatter the lid 😳

I know you mentioned you could use olive oil instead of avocado, but olive oil has a low smoke point and will burn quickly at higher temps. Don't sear with olive oil unless you want your smoke alarm to go off 🤣

instead of a seasoning packet you can just do onion powder & garlic powder (1/2 tsp each), 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce, 4 tbsp butter, and a splash of red wine/bone broth.
