Silence isn’t closure. It’s manipulation. You give someone attention, even love-bomb them, and then pull away without saying a word. Of course they hold on. Feelings and dopamine makes you hope for the best. That’s not closure, that’s mind games.

it’s just basic human decency to communicate a change of feelings instead. it’s not about pampering. it messes with your head being on the receiving end - literally made me feel worthless when it happened to me. idk how anyone can string someone along for months and months then abruptly discard them like they’re nothing.
