🌟 Celebrating 136 Years of Dental Care at 209 NYC Dental! 🦷💖 Did you know that 209 NYC Dental is the oldest continuing dental practice in New York State? That’s right! Since 1887, we've been dedicated to taking care of individuals and families across countless generations. As we reflect on our incredible journey over the past 12 decades, we invite you to celebrate our legacy with us! 🎉 It all started in 1887 when Dr. Joseph Kuhn—a beloved figure in the Catholic Church—opened the original dental office. Fast forward to 1905, Dr. Relkin joined him and expanded their services to three locations throughout Manhattan, catering to the likes of Broadway royalty like Ethel Merman and Van Johnson. 🌆 In 1974, Dr. Roy Wolf streamlined operations at our current address, 1097 Second Ave. This dynamic dentist was all about giving back to his Brooklyn community. Just a year later, Dr. Steven Kafko began his journey with us after completing his residency with the USAF, becoming a partner in 1982. Dr. Jack Kaminsky joined the family in 1983, setting the stage for what would become a remarkable partnership with Dr. Kafko by 1990. In 1995, we found our forever home at 209 East 56th Street, earning a third-place award for health care facilities from the American Institute of Architects NY State! Our innovative office design even made it to the Journal of Dental Economics as the office of the month—talk about an honor! 🏆 After a renovation in 2005, we welcomed new specialists like Dr. Ben Ifraimov, enhancing our ability to provide top-notch care. Fast forward to 2013 when Drs. Ben Ahn and Jin Wang joined, making us a multi-specialty dental practice offering everything from periodontal treatments to cutting-edge cosmetic dentistry! And the journey doesn’t stop there!
