The question do you often get up in meetings???? No of course not i am an adult and it would look really weird if I suddenly got up, plus I dont like being perceived, so the adhd wants to move but the autism wants to hide

Ive taken the CAT-Q like 5x...I mask too much to be diagnosed...and my ADHD overlaps with a lot of my trauma responses 😅 🙃

It’s a social contagion for black and white thinkers in all or nothing cognitive distortion.. if you don’t empower autonomy then the risks of psychosis and early onset dementia increase.

As a high masking and now diagnosed AuDHDer, best advice I saw somewhere was “Answer every question as if it is your worst day”. And also bounce off someone who knows you well. I was certain I didn’t have a problem with socks until my husband pointed out that it’s because I only buy certain types of socks and that even then sometimes I do instead cry when I’m overstimulated and don’t want to wear them.
