Fungsinya: memisahkan brondolan dari tandan kosong (EFB) setelah proses rebus. 🔎 Cara Kerjanya Setelah sterilizer: 1️⃣ TBS masuk ke drum berputar 2️⃣ Drum berputar ±20–23 rpm 3️⃣ Tandan terbanting & tergesek 4️⃣ Brondolan lepas → jatuh ke bawah 5️⃣ Tandan kosong keluar terpisah Efisiensi pemisahan yang bagus bisa capai >98%. Kalau setting salah? → Brondolan masih nempel → Oil loss tinggi → Rendemen turun. 📊 Dampak ke Produksi Misalnya PKS kapasitas 45–60 ton/jam. Kalau 1% brondolan gagal terpisah: → Potensi kehilangan minyak signifikan → Bisa ratusan juta rupiah per bulan tergantung harga CPO global. Makanya performa thresher itu bukan hal kecil. ⚠️ Soal Safety Aman kalau: ✔ Ada cover & guard pelindung ✔ Ada emergency stop ✔ SOP LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) saat maintenance ✔ Tidak ada pekerja berdiri terlalu dekat tanpa APD Risikonya: • Terjepit putaran drum • Terkena lontaran tandan • Slip karena minyak Di industri sawit, banyak insiden terjadi justru di area bergerak seperti ini.
