@detailingessentials: Rotary will forever reign superior for cutting efficiently on a vehicle. It’s just the nature of the movement #paintcorrection #detailers #detailer #detailing #cardetailing

The day you learn to master a rotary, that's when you realize you have an extremely good and versatile tool.

I was always told heat was need to buff scratches so rotary was always more efficient especially in small/tight areas and DA’s just couldn’t produce the heat to the panel so you were doing 1000 passes, so they were just used for polish.

I like flex machines/ forced rotation in general. Have a Hercules and personally would prefer that over a rupes or any other da. What are your opinions on forced rotation machines? I still use the rotary all the time especially the 3” love that thing.

I have 20 years with a rotary. I don’t use them anymore. Everything you said I can’t do with da I can do. But each their own

what pad are you using? and why use a backing plate on a rotaty as opposed to using a pad that has two sides

Completely agree and love your work , just wondering when angling a rotary are you more likely to getting stripes or only with too much pressure 👍

I see some saying they can make that body line and do it effectively. U must be using a 7 inch thin microfiber pad or wool pad on a 3 inch backing plate folding the hell outta it lol ur not making it and even if u do it’s not effective because there’s no even pressure on it no matter how little . But I get it there’s always the king the “polishing man from the promise land” the golden arm with no physical proof !!! The day u stop or refuse to learn ur done ur done .. the technology and techniques of both paint and polishers have changed so much since the late 80’s I’m still learning and not to proud to say it

First cut should be with a rotary… second cut or finish with a DA polisher
