@xtwii: Let's talk about it for a second 💜🔮🍇 There was a huge craze of purple labradorite where it was nearly impossible to purchase purple labs without selling it immediately. The reason it died down in my opinion is the production of cabochons and polished specimens that were just trying to get it out there as quick as possible without looking at the integrity of the flash, and more importantly the lay of it. When I make necklaces with materials that have flash/chatoyance, I profile them so the flash is seen when worn (as it should be) or can easily be found. This means I'm extra picky when it comes to labradorite and moonstone cabochons because while some can have the best flash ever, if its hard to find, I dont want it. Or at the very least I disclose it. This beautiful full flash lab is finished with a real scallop shell I collected, and a faceted smokey quartz.
