@abbeyyung: 1. Clean” products still have chemicals in them. “Non-toxic” is an unregulated claim- any brand can say this regardless of what is in their product. So a product that doesn’t claim to be “clean” or “non-toxic” is not inherently toxic. 2. Just because the oils on our scalp are “natural” doesn’t mean that they should be left there. Oils SHOULD be “stripped” away or removed to maintain scalp health- that’s the whole purpose of shampoo. But that doesn’t mean you need to use a shampoo that makes your scalp and hair feel dry/stripped. The goal is to use a shampoo that cleans effectively and leaves your scalp feeling comfortable. 3. This is just how conditioners protect our hair- the coating is a good thing. 4. Joking because silicones don’t actually “suffocate” your hair or prevent it from breathing. Your hair doesn’t need to breathe. Silicones have great benefits. 5. I use a blow dryer every wash day and a hot styling tool 1-3x a week. You can use heat without severe damage if you have the right routine in place to protect and repair it. 6. Similarly, I get my hair colored about 3-4x a year but am still able to keep it healthy because of my routine. 7. Many haircare brands have lawsuits filed against them because the people filing them aren’t required to have any sort of education or training in hair loss. That’s not a dig at those people- hair loss is super confusing & I empathize with anyone experiencing it. It just means that you don’t need to immediately throw away your haircare products from a brand that has lawsuits filed against them, as those lawsuits often place blame on things that wouldn’t have caused hair loss in the first place. 8. Search “drugstore vs high end haircare” on my YouTube channel to hear about this straight from a cosmetic chemist 9. Most things the internet tells you to avoid are usually completely fine to use on your hair and often times, even beneficial for it. #haircare #healthyhair #longhair #hairgrowth
saw someone make a video where they recreated the Abbey Yung method with "non-toxic ingredients" the toxic ingredients are the best part!!! yummy sulfates

I have to be honest.. sulfates are killing my curly/wavy/damaged/thin/fine hair. Everything with this routine is great, but I need a sulfate free. I just want my healthy curls back after heat damage for so many years.

Hi I’ve been using your method for about 2 weeks and I never thought I had curly hair! 😳Your method has brought my hair to life I used to use “healthy non chemical” hair products💰 and all I can say is wow. Never had this happen to me today was the first time I blowed dried my hair since I’m going out🥰🥹 Thank you so much for sharing your tips!

Do all your tips/advice apply to wavy hair as well? Also, could you talk about low porosity hair & what products work best? 😭

I love this, but wish there was more of a focus on cruelty free products! I don't want an animal to suffer just for my hair!
