The sheriff said they were carrying out tasks to try and “prove their faith” Marcus reportedly returned to the lake alone, and did not return. Around 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, Sheriff Campbell said Ruth placed Vincen (her four year old son) on the golf cart, returned to the dock, and dr*wned him. THEN some time around 10:30 am Ruth drove the golf cart into the lake with her three teenagers, a 15-year-old daughter and 18-year-old twin sons, on board. Thankfully the teenagers were not injured. The golf cart crash prompted a response by rangers and deputies and ultimately uncovered the other de*ths. This case is shocking and heartbreaking- following this case, and praying justice is served.
