Sorry, this was much needed. Dana Point needs a community hub like San Juan received with the River Street market where families come together and kids play on the lawn. Yes, some charm will be lost, but the harbor is run down.

What’s gonna do it for me and hurt is when they try to build another hotel up by chart house. In the plans now and I really hope it doesn’t happen. Just exapand the Headlands! There’s a whole ecosystem there and native Weasles 😭

i came home from college last summer and seeing the giant parking garage blocking what used to be my favorite view, i wanted to cry. i can’t imagine how ill feel when everything else is gone.

This is happening to a lot of the small coastal towns. Developers coming in from big cities trying to make the tiny towns more appealing to them (but not us). My family helped bring Morro Bay together and the transplants have effectively chased us away. The battery storage facility was my last straw.
