I never post pictures here. Idk I guess I’ve always just posted them on IG but I wanted to start sharing all the stuff that doesn’t make it into videos here too. I feel I haven’t shared my story here at all and get random comments asking if I’m still a teacher. To that I say, I am not. I left teaching about a year ago. I will always love the profession of teaching and my kids will ALWAYS be my kids. I will destroy anyone for them 😂 I still sub occasionally but I never post about it. I realized that although my platform was built around the goofy teacher persona, I realized it wasn’t what I wanted to do forever, especially if I wanted to start a family. When I was teaching I spent the majority of my time working and never actually having time or energy for my wife. I needed to make a change. So this last year I’ve been doing social media and side things here and there, I see it as this time I get with my wife that I’ll never get back and building a strong marriage. I know it may disappoint you that I’m no longer a teacher and I get that, but it was the best choice for me and my wife. This year has had crazy ups and downs. I know my social media has changed and you might not like it, that’s fair, but I want to make videos for me and do the things that I enjoy. I may not ever be a mega viral TikToker again but I’ve accepted that and know that my worth and identity isn’t wrapped up in social media. I could probably keep going forever with this post but if you really want to know what’s been going on this past year, just leave a question in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer, if not no worries….okay now to what the pictures are about 😂 👇🏻 The pictures: For my birthday we started in the Sierras (super tall mountains in central California) where we hiked and camped. Probably why you might be seeing this weird mix of Disneyland videos with random camping videos. I also brought my actual camera for more cinematic pictures lol. We ended up camping at the very spot I proposed to Katie (you can see that photo last). We camped for 4 days and then packed up and made our way down to Disneyland. Ahhhhhh Disneyland. I have such fond memories of Disneyland from childhood and college. I know I’m an unc now but Disneyland will always be fun to me. One day I’ll take my kids (when they can appreciate it and we actually have them 😂) Oh P.S. if you actually look at the photos you are seeing them in reverse order, the mustache gives that away lol.
