@josh_neille: Just came in to check on Betty and Kev and fair dinkum they are out cold. Betty’s laid back like she’s had a big night at the pub, head flopped out of the bed, not a care in the world. Kev’s in a full-blown wombat coma next to her, no matter how much I try to sweet talk him out of bed. Lazy Sundays are serious business in the wombat world. Fun fact—wombats are absolute sleep champions. They can snooze for up to 16 hours a day, especially during the warmer months when they prefer to avoid the heat and chill out in their burrows. These little units conserve energy like pros, kicking back and only coming out when the conditions are just right. No wonder Betty and Kev have perfected the art of the nap! Honestly, I’m not even mad, just wildly envious. Imagine being that chill, not worrying about anything, just soaking up the good life with a mate in a snuggly bed. These two are absolute characters and they’re kicking goals. Can’t wait till they’re lazing about like this in the bush one day, living their best little wombat lives. On yas Betty and Kev.
