@workhorseafrica: Why Africa chooses European trucks over American, and why Chinese trucks like FAW are now taking over. If you’re looking for reliable second-hand trucks, vehicles, or machinery — we’ve got you covered. #TruckTok #AfricaLogistics #SecondHandTrucks #FAW #TruckingAfrica
roads...roads... American Trucks are too big making them harder to navigate on Africa roads. That's why we use European Trucks...Chinese trucks are modelled after European trucks so they also work well here...

We have 2 FAWs in our tanker fleet, 3 years running now, honestly thought it was going to be one of those "wish we never did" buys but can't fault them at all. Only downside is the short maintenance intervals.

I have been owning FAW for the fast six years. The only expensive things of owning a FAW is tires and annual license renewal.

not only that chinese trucks arent as fragile as people say, i have a few sino trucks and they break down much less than my volvos, and when they do, the parts are a fraction of the price of volvo parts

What is fun is that these Chinese trucks are sourcing drivetrain and engine from these big European trucks like Man and volvo

Where is Volvo on that least? Also when it comes to heavy duty machinery and vehicles service support everyone else is yet to catch to Scandinavian brands.

Chinese good but not sustainable, you are talking sales but not mechanics, a used scania or benz is better than a brand new howo or faw.

Let others do the testing for me on Chinese trucks, for now I’ll stick with European trucks and maybe we’ll look at FAW in 10 years time

Power Systems & Technology :
American trucks are not built for our roads, they're usually long nose & that makes them only tow one trailer to be able to turn on our roads. Here in SA we mainly have superlinks & interlinks. A long nose truck wouldn't turn with linked trailers in a CBD
