insurance payors rely heavily on federal funding for the medicare line of business; due to federal cuts, regulatory changes, and cost of care most payors are exiting the medicare space. this isn’t just limited to for profit payors but it’s everyone: non profit regional payors; for profit national providers and everyone in between.

I’m currently helping my 93 year old grandma through this and honestly she would have NO idea how to do any of this. They don’t want old people living and costing them money. They don’t want to make it simple and easy to get care in anyway and it’s INTENTIONAL 😩
