People in the comments hating on the bystanders more than the attacker!! Truth is we have no idea what we would all do in that situation. We don’t chose our response, you go into flight, freeze, fawn or fight. Your body decides for you often more than not!

A massive empathy crisis, proven just by looking at these comments. Even if you know you cannot help, even if you’re feeling scared or traumatised in that moment as well, you KNOW someone has just been hurt. Even if it wasn’t obvious she was stabbed, it was obvious he did SOMETHING. Yet everyone still ignored her. The lack of humanity in everyone on that train is astounding.

Honestly I think the footage of her reaction is worse than the part leading up to it. Her shock, the way she cried, the way no one paid enough attention to her to realise what the hell just happened and if they did they didn’t even help her…. She would’ve felt so alone in her final moments. The bystander effect
