I would love to get paid to coach, but I will always volunteer my time to coach my daughter and her team. The exhaustion (physical and mental) is more than worth it. Now if I were to coach a team that my kids are not on it would probably be different.

A place for both kinds of coaches. Those that volunteer normally has kids on the team. And those that get paid. That’s ok. I’m not sure why parent coaches has become such a negative thing. Lots of good coaches and bad coaches either paid or free.
