@haileyjewelll: Gender “disappointment” is real and it’s ok. A little backstory, January 14th I experienced a miscarriage. The night I passed our precious little baby I had a dream. I saw a little girl in a yellow sundress. She had beautiful long brown curly hair. I couldn’t see her face but I saw her holding hands with my grandma (she’s passed on). They were walking through a field of flowers into the sun and then disappeared. When I found out I was pregnant I prayed for our girl. I knew in my heart she’d come back. I was so eager to know the gender of our baby due to struggling with developing that connection out of fear I’d lose this baby too. We did the sneak peek at home blood test. It was accurate with our son so I thought this one would be accurate too. Sneak peek said boy. My heart was so sad not because I was having another boy but because my heart longed for that baby girl. Well, to our surprise sneak peek was wrong!! Mamas if this was your reaction too to your gender reveal, it’s ok. You’re not alone and I promise you’ll love that baby no matter who they are or who they become🫶🏼
