I've been saying this. Elijah & Freya were the biggest monsters in that family. They were both doing things that even Klaus thought was going too far. And Freya didn't have the excuse of being a Vampire. When Vincent called her a blood sucker, he was dead-on!

Elijah was ruthless when it came to his family. He was very careful with his words so that he had those loopholes. He was very intelligent and he would hold all that anger in until it just boiled over. And I don't think he ever believed he was worthy of redemption because he knew he was worse than Klaus that's why he fought so hard for Klaus'.
