I’ve only taken mine in an HEB with me once. He is a chihuahua. He had just had surgery. I had to pick a couple of things up. He couldn’t be left alone at home or in the car. I don’t mind seeing other peoples dogs.

Hallelujah!! Just one more reason I love HEB. Only a true service dog should be in the store. People pretending that their dogs are service are selfish and taking advantage of the law allowing service dogs in public areas.

I love dogs! Non service animals do not belong in grocery stores. They are a distraction and can be hazardous to actual service animals.

I think it's a good idea. I like bringing my dog with me anywhere I can, but let's not pretend folks don't even make sure their pets are immunized.

Butt poop in your cart…yep! As a retired 9 year cashier…will never forget the 2 young ladies who came through my line and let their pup shit right there as they were paying!!! Didn’t say anything and bailed so quickly…they knew😤. Also working self checkout and young man left his dog shit through the cart. I caught it and quickly handed them a roll of paper…oh hell no I’m not cleaning that shit up. He also bailed quickly and just sat the roll of paper down😭😤😖

I work at the 1604 and potranco location and one day I saw a puppy golden retriever, two frenchies and a Pomeranian. Two of the dogs in the cart. I own a dog and I don’t want his ass where my groceries go! So why tf would I want a strangers dog ass in the same spot I put my food

Thank god. I keep seeing more dogs in the store and it’s gross. Also not everyone is comfortable around dogs.
