I’m not paralyzed but I had a weird feeling the other day and I couldn’t explain it. Like my insides were freezing and I was shivering but I was out in the Texas sun, sweating and hot to the touch. Once I got home and got comfortable and cut the air off it went away. Felt like I was gunna go hypothermic

I'd would check for UTI. I had a friend who was paralyzed and did self cathing and ended up septic from a UTI.

Heyyy OT here! Do you sometimes go into AD after your bowel program? And have you considered using a transanal irrigation system (TAI)? Learned about that at an SCI conference last week and will be trialing in out inpatient rehab. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!

Interesting I broke my back from t11-l3 I’ve had 5 spine surgeries in 3 years.I now have 8 screws 4 rods and 1 cage. I’m sick all the time and never know why but I definitely am more interested in why this happens

One time I woke up at 2 am shivering worse than I’ve ever shivered in my entire life. Teeth chattering and literally couldn’t speak or move, absolutely horrifying. Was about to call an ambulance but it just went away and I went to bed after about an hour. Guess that’s what happens when you only have 20% of your nerves available. Who knows
