@cboothang: Next stop on my Mezcal Por Siempre food journey is at @MadreWestHollywood in West Hollywood!  Madre! It isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a living story of tradition, family, and mezcal. Founder Ivan Vasquez @ivan_vasquez_ spent more than 25 years in LA’s food scene, but it was his love for Oaxaca, mezcal, and community that gave life to Madre. Today, it holds the largest selection of mezcal in the United States (yes, you read that right). What started as a humble little spot with just 9 tables has now grown into one of LA’s most beloved restaurants, where every sip and bite is tied to heritage. Madre is also extra special because Ivan is one of the founders of Mezcal Por Siempre, and this year, Madre will be one of six incredible food vendors serving up delicious food at the festival.  It was a treat to eat at the West Hollywood location and experience the passion, the flavors, and of course… the mezcal.
