It’s fake I feel it every time I feel discussing af whenever she tries to hug me. Growing up she never wanted hugs from me it hurt my feelings now I’m just thankful I understand now that we just don’t bond at all🤷🏽♀

Eh. I have this with mom and she’s not bad- no trauma here. But I was never all that close with her growing up and just have certain feelings about her and the way she lives if that makes sense. It’s nothing terrible.

They tried to cuddle with me after my last miscarriage and all I wanted to do was leave. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. I haven’t seen them in 2 years and they’re coming to visit next week. Just thinking about it is making me nauseous. I just want the visit to be over already and it hasn’t even started.

Watch my mom say “I love you”& hug/kiss my siblings, but she vocally expresses her dislike for me and it is SO uncomfortable and sad when she fake hugs me on rare occasions!

Not always. I have never had any trauma, and have a wonderful relationship w my parents, yet I never liked physical affection from them. It’s just my preference, it’s ok and it is valid.
