The hard part is finding a partner that actually meets those standards. I love my family and extended family, very similar to yours, but my past partners never shared a similar family experience, a family with love, respect, support, kindness, forgiveness, advice, sacrifice, just to name a few. No family is perfect, we all have our issues, but I wonder if it’s just getting harder for people to grow up in a relatively healthy family. I tried to compromise and give people the benefit of the doubt, but inevitably the behaviors that made their parents the way they were, showed up in them too; lying, cheating, not communicating, assuming negative intent, selfishness, lacking empathy, judgmental, etc… . I truly wish you find the love you deserve. A love that never leaves you, a love that is never taken from you, a love that sees and values the privilege it is to have you as a partner in this life. ❤️🥹I always love seeing happy couples out in the world, it makes me hopeful that they found the right one.
