The author missed so many opportunities to give reader a deeper understanding of each character and even more disappointing so many missed opportunities for world environment, scenery, ambience, descriptions…. The author also used some of the same repetitive descriptions over and over…. Lips reach eyes (to describe a smile), smell of salt (there’s a 1000 other things with stonger scent than SALT that could’ve given reader a more immersive experience), the do you trust me- do I have a choice line happened multiple times, etc.
