that's the saddest part of all of this. not a single person acknowledged her in any way or checked on her. I get in that moment none may have actually realized what did happen but to not even check on her is just incredibly sad.

But the killer was still standing there? For 90 seconds I believe. I would like to think I would help someone immediately that was injured like this, but I can’t be for certain if the man that killed her was still feet away from us both with his weapon and me unarmed. From the footage I saw, people did go back to help her once he left.
