fair warning from someone who grew up in Kingston— the trail to Rock Dunder requires a purchased day/season pass and prepare for insane traffic at the parking lot. It’s too small to support the amount of visitors even in the summer, and is at least 10x more popular in the fall, regardless of the time of day or week.

Eagles nest is never a short hike in the fall because you’ll have to park miles away from the trailhead because there’s a thousand other people there too.
