@leahhopehealth: A Letter to the Old Me — You thought you were doing the best you could. You didn’t know what you didn’t know. You knew you were missing out, but you didn’t really understand it. How could you, when you had never experienced freedom before? You tried to show up. For yourself. For others. But your capacity to give and be present was limited by your lack of health. You wanted more for yourself and your future, but you felt stuck. Weighed down. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’m not mad at you. I don’t resent you. I don’t regret you. I’m grateful for you. I understand you. I honor you. You were always worth the investment. Always worth the effort. Always worthy of fully loving yourself. You just didn’t act on those beliefs. Until one day, you did. And then you did again the next day. And the next. You didn’t hate or shame yourself into a body you feel at home in. You loved yourself there. And that’s why I’m proud of you. You are the version of me who decided I was worth changing for. The version who loved me and the people in my life enough to choose something different. Without you, there is no me. I love you. And that love is exactly why I am where I am today. 💜 And now, I want to hold space for others on their own journey.
