The lawsuit is still ongoing with it being filed in 2023. Abney well being the wrong tenant being evicted as it turns out was also an illegal tenant which has complicated the lawsuit. Abney is seeking over a million dollars in damages but considering he was also an illegal tenant is likely hoping The Hamilton settles out of court
