I know someone who's in a multi-year struggle to be referred and receive treatment for endometriosis in the UK, some of the advice they've been given (from GPs, our primary medical practicioners) is actively dangerous - you're absolutely right to speak up, it's an ongoing disgrace.

I have severely debilitating cramps every month, to the point I sometimes I can't walk. I've been told that that's normal for a decade now. Every month i just fight through it, do my job and no man has ever been able to tell when I'm on my period despite how bad they are. Playing a competetive game is so much easier in comparison because having to be focused all of the time helps me forget about some of the pain

What pisses me off the most, in the context of league esports, is that this type of stuff is exactly why there's no women in any esports teams. And I don't mean only currently but given A CHANCE. His comment just makes me think that there never was or never will be a scenario where woman couldve played in same team as Bwipo and possibly Bwipo being vocally behind that behind the scenes in the team. And that just has to be the tip of the icerberg.

I'm a women who works in live TV. The amount of times I've had to grit my teeth through hour long productions with undiagnosed endometriosis.. I damn well can play in a ranked game unfazed.

My doctors always said my endometriosis was just bad UTIs for yeeeeeears🙃 No one even checked for anything else… just gave me antibiotics and told me to “come back if it gets worse”

I feel you, some of us men are ignorant about women's issues and only think of ourselves. It's sad that there are still men falling for toxic propaganda about women. I wish you can be treated with the respect that you deserve, we all are humans and we deserve the same treatment. Sending a hug 🫂

Can we not talk about all women even if we are women? “But we still do it” No we don’t, not all of us. My periods are so bad I can’t go to work my first day. I stay in bed with extreme pain and brain fog, my hormones are fcked up and I throw up. What bwipo said applies to me and I am not ashamed about it. I am disabled for 3 days every month
