Tbh as long as you are not putting raw fish, sushi rolls are super easy and cheap to make them at home. You just need bamboo sushi mat, Korean rice, seaweed papers, mentsuyu instead of regular soy sauce, sesame seeds if you want to upgrade your sushi, and roll with these options of baby cucumber, crabs, cooked eggs, avocados, cream cheese, tuna, spam etc Trust me on its not hard!!!

my kids are the same way I love it. Lately ive been taking them to sprouts on $5 sushi Wednesday,its just as good in my opinion and saves a ton of money.
