My wife ran her 18 f150 with the 3.5 eco to 527k miles on the original drivetrain. She uses her trucks for work as a tower engineer. Maintenance is key. The transmission failed last week so she walked into the dealership & bought herself a new 25 f150.

330,000 on my 2011 3.5 ecoboost I put a rear axle at about 270,000 and the transmission is starting to shift hard now so new trans soon.

this is why I never buy a diesel unless I'm pulling because if u know what ur doin u can make a gas engine last as long as a diesel for way cheaper

I can guarantee you he has replaced some blend door actuators in the dash and I guarantee you the door that opens and closed for fresh air. in the hvac system has broken. They always break.

I’m starting to believe that if you baby these ford trucks more stuff goes wrong then When you use it how it’s supposed to my 2016 was pulling everyday no less then 100 miles a day wasn’t babied by any means and it was the 2.7 with the 6 speed it made it to 300k when I traded it in for the new one and I only replaced one turbo did 5k oil changes same motor same trans stock suspension and she still had more life to go I love ford
