Sometimes you’re just trying to be the little weirdo you are and it will come in the form of a TikTok filter question. I’ve been posting a couple drafts because I’m running out of space and I found this little moment in there. I don’t know why I saved it, but maybe because it felt weird to delete? And every memory I have feels like we’re all together and nothing ever happened for a minute. But hmmm I don’t know how to answer the question I guess I would just give him updates on all of our lives, everyone I could think of that he cared about. I’d tell him about all of the new additions to the family, partners and grandchildren I know he would love. I would ask him a couple questions too, obviously. Can he see us? Does he know what we’re doing? I would tell him I love him and that I am grateful that he loved us all so hard that I can still feel it. I would tell him that I miss him, and I’d try to make him laugh but he’d probably turn that around on me. I’d ask him if he had any advice going forward, and he’d probably answer with a Beatles lyric or just a reminder to love and be kind. Have empathy, be able to laugh at yourself. Ooof now I got myself going. I got Covid today so I’m being a little sentimental, excuuuuuse me!! Anyway, I see a lot of outpouring of love for him in my comments, and I want you to know I appreciate every single lovely thing you say. He would be so moved to know any one of these stories of how meaningful he was to you. Ok sorry for a serious-y post!! It’s the drafts fault!! And Covid!
